Política de privacidad
Última actualización: 12 de octubre de 2026.
1. Responsable del tratamiento #
- Responsable: MJC Apps.
6.1.a RGPD y art.
Privacy policy
Last updated: 12 October 2026.
1. Controller #
- Controller: MJC Apps.
- Contact email for privacy and support: mjcapps.dev@gmail.com
2. Data that stays on your device #
The app does not require a user account. Your favourites, progress, times, statistics, local records, custom algorithms, settings, backups and Premium status are stored only on your device. We have no access to them and cannot recover them if you delete them.
Practice reminders are worked out and scheduled on your device, offline, from that data, which does not leave it. Usage analytics (section 3.5) also record whether a reminder was shown or opened and the app usage that followed. You can turn reminders off in Settings > Privacy and notifications > Reminders or in Android's notification settings.
3. Data processed, purposes and legal bases #
3.1 Notifications #
Only if you turn notifications on (on Android 12 or lower they are on by default and can be turned off in Settings > Privacy and notifications), we process: a random installation identifier, an anonymous Firebase Authentication identifier, the notification delivery token, the device model, the Android and app versions, the configured language and country or region, whether you have the Premium version, your notification preferences and usage dates to the day. We do not access the device location.
Purpose: delivering notifications and adapting them to your language, country and version. Legal basis: legitimate interest in communicating with those who have turned notifications on (art. 6.1.f GDPR), balanced against your rights as the data are minimal and you can delete them at any time by turning notifications off.
3.2 Commercial communications #
Notifications and messages with a commercial purpose (Premium offers) are only sent if you expressly allow them through the "Offers and commercial news" option, off by default (art. 6.1.a GDPR and art. 21 of Spanish Law 34/2002, LSSI). You can withdraw it at any time in Settings > Privacy and notifications without affecting functional notifications. We keep a record of the permission (date and version of the accepted text) to be able to prove it (art. 7.1 GDPR).
3.3 In-app messages #
The app periodically downloads the messages it may show on screen; whether to show them is decided on your device without sending data. When they are downloaded, the hosting provider records the connection IP address in its technical security logs for at most 30 days. Legal basis: legitimate interest in informing about our service (art. 6.1.f GDPR) and, for commercial content, your consent.
3.4 Advertising #
The free version shows Google AdMob ads. Google may process device identifiers (including the Android advertising ID), technical data and an approximate location derived from the IP address, as an independent controller of that processing. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland your consent is requested before ads are shown, through Google's consent platform, and you can change it in Settings > Privacy and notifications > Privacy options. Legal basis: your consent, where required. The Premium version shows no ads. More information: how Google uses data from apps that use its services.
3.5 Analytics #
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand app usage in aggregate, linked to an app instance identifier. Collection is off until you give consent in regions where it is required. Legal basis: your consent where required and, otherwise, legitimate interest in improving the app (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
3.6 Purchases #
The Premium version is purchased through Google Play, which handles payment. We only receive the purchase confirmation; we do not process card or bank details. Legal basis: performance of the contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
3.7 Game rankings #
Taking part in rankings is voluntary: the app asks the first time whether you want to appear in them and sends neither your result nor your progress until you accept. When a timed game starts, the anonymous Firebase Authentication identifier, the game and level, the app version and the device model are sent. If you accept to appear and are signed in to Google Play Games, the score, duration and game data, your Google Play Games profile (player ID, display name and avatar) and a Google Play Integrity check, of which we keep only the verdict, are also sent.
Your display name, avatar, score and date are shown publicly on the leaderboard, together with your level and rank. Results that fail the check are not published. When you accept to appear, your earlier Timed record saved on the device is sent once, with the same check; it is shown only in the all-time ranking, marked as an earlier record.
Level and players ranking. If you have accepted to appear and are signed in to Google Play Games, the app periodically sends your progress: total and weekly experience, best streak, number of mastered algorithms, earned achievements, the date the app was installed, whether you have the Premium version and the decorative items you chose, the region set on the device and your visibility preferences, together with your Google Play Games profile and a Google Play Integrity check. To show your avatar, the app also sends a one-time authorisation code issued by Google Play Games, which our server uses to obtain the link to your profile picture from Google; we keep only that link, not the image, and refresh it at most once a week. Our server works out the level and rank from the experience it accepts, within a daily limit. Other players can see your display name, avatar, level, rank, experience, best streak, mastered algorithms, achievements, the year since which you have used the app, your best scores, the gestures received this week and, where applicable, the Premium badge. Your country is only shown if you expressly allow it; the region is kept even when it is not shown, solely to offer you the national ranking. We do not access the device location.
Interactions. Players can send each other predefined gestures and report another player for a predefined reason. There is no messaging or free text between users. We record who performs each action, on whom and when. We review reports, which may lead to exclusion from the rankings.
Visibility. You can stop appearing in the public rankings and choose whether your country is shown at any time, in Settings > Privacy and notifications. The change applies immediately: others no longer see you and cannot interact with you, and you can still see the rankings. You can also leave the ranking and delete your data (player profile, results, level, gestures and reports) in Settings > Privacy and notifications; nothing is sent again until you send a result again.
Legal basis: providing the service you request (art. 6.1.b GDPR); for showing your country, your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR); for the integrity check, the daily experience limit and the review of reports, legitimate interest in ensuring a fair ranking and respectful conduct (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
Achievements. If you are signed in to Google Play Games, the achievements you earn in the app are recorded in your Google Play Games profile. Google manages that record under its own privacy policy; we do not access it. Earned achievements are also kept on your device, with the rest of your progress (section 2), and are sent with your level to show them on your player card.
3.8 Support #
If you email us, we process your email address and message to assist you. Legal basis: legitimate interest in answering your request (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
3.9 Voluntary provision and automated decisions #
Providing the data described is not mandatory: the app can be used without notifications, without rankings and without consenting to personalised advertising. No decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects or similarly significantly affect you are made.
4. Recipients #
We do not sell your data. We only disclose it to the following providers, acting as processors on our behalf (art. 28 GDPR) or, where stated, as independent controllers under their own terms:
- Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC: as processor, for Firebase (Cloud Messaging, Authentication, Installations, Analytics and In-App Messaging); as independent controller, for Google Play, Google Play Games, Play Integrity and AdMob.
- IONOS SE: processor, server hosting in the European Union.
- OneSignal, Inc.: processor, notification delivery.
Privacy policies: Google, OneSignal. The app may contain links to third-party sites, which are governed by their own policies.
5. International transfers #
Some Google and OneSignal services may process data in the United States. These transfers rely on the adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, subsidiarily, on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
6. Retention periods #
- Notifications: while they are on. The record is deleted when you turn them off, after 180 days without connection, or 30 days after the token becomes invalid.
- Permission for commercial communications: while in force and, after withdrawal, blocked for 3 years for evidentiary purposes.
- Erasure requests: an encrypted fingerprint of the identifier, blocked for 1 year, to prevent an accidental new registration.
- Rankings: game sessions, 7 days; invalid results, 90 days; gestures, 8 weeks; resolved reports, 90 days; published results, the player profile and the level, while the ranking exists or until you request erasure, from the app or by email.
- Technical security logs: up to 1 year.
- Analytics: 2 months.
- Support emails: up to 1 year after the request is closed.
7. Your rights #
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
- From the app: turning notifications off deletes the device record, and in Settings > Privacy and notifications you can withdraw the commercial permission, stop appearing in the public rankings, hide your country and leave the ranking, deleting your data.
- By email to mjcapps.dev@gmail.com: state the right you exercise and the identifier shown in Settings > Privacy and notifications > Notification identifier or, for rankings, your display name. We will not ask for other data. We will reply within one month.
If you consider that your request has not been properly handled, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or the supervisory authority of your country.
8. Children #
The app is not directed at children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us with data, write to us and we will delete it.
9. Security #
All communications are encrypted in transit (TLS). We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption of notification tokens, integrity checks on results and restricted, authenticated access to management systems.
10. Changes to this policy #
We will publish any change on this page and update the date. If a change affects the purpose or legal basis of a processing activity, we will inform you in the app before applying it.
